Bring Jewish History Into Hands-On Learning
Aleph Brick brings together Jewish educational content, building activities and opportunities for meaningful discussion. Our Beis Hamikdash building set offers a hands-on way for students and families to explore the architecture and traditional sources associated with the Beis Hamikdash.
We welcome inquiries from schools, yeshivos, Bais Yaakovs, shuls, camps and educational organizations interested in using Aleph Brick as part of their learning activities.

Explore the Beis Hamikdash Through Building
The Aleph Brick Beis Hamikdash set includes:
- A 1,631-piece build, with more than 1,650 parts in the box.
- Two separate Heichal build options based on ancient Jewish commentaries.
- A completed model measuring about 12.5 x 7.5 x 5 inches.
- Recommended for ages 6 and up.
- Opportunities for collaborative building and source-based discussion.
The model is an educational interpretation intended to complement Jewish learning, not replace traditional texts or resolve every architectural question. Common questions about pieces and compatibility are answered on our FAQ page.
Ideas for Educational Use
- Classroom learning: use selected building sections as visual aids while studying Jewish history or traditional sources.
- Family learning events: invite parents and children to explore the model and discuss what they are learning.
- Camp activities: plan supervised group-building activities suited to the participants' ages and available time.
- Shul educational programming: use the model to support a planned educational session.
These are suggested uses, not claims about existing institutional programs or partnerships.
Mishnah Middos and Traditional Sources
Mishnah Middos describes measurements, gates, courtyards and structures associated with the Beis Hamikdash. Educators can use selected passages as starting points for source-based learning, and building activities may help participants visualize the questions raised by the texts. You can read the full text free on Sefaria: Mishnah Middot, and find more family and classroom ideas on the Aleph Brick blog.
Architectural details can be understood differently among traditional commentaries. Educational activities should distinguish original sources from model design choices.
