Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about the Aleph Brick educational building sets. Can't find what you need? Contact our team.

What does Aleph Brick make?

Aleph Brick™ makes Jewish educational building sets that bring together creativity, hands-on play and Jewish history. Our first set is the Beis Hamikdash building set. You can see it in our Holy Sites collection.

How many pieces are in the Beis Hamikdash set?

The model is a 1,631-piece build, with more than 1,650 parts included in the box. The extra parts are spares beyond the pieces used in the completed build.

How large is the finished model?

The completed model measures 12.5 x 7.5 x 5 inches. These are the finished-model dimensions, not the dimensions of the box.

What are the two Heichal build options?

The set offers two separate Heichal build options based on ancient Jewish commentaries. Builders choose which design to construct. The two options are alternatives, not two Heichal buildings meant to stand together.

Is Aleph Brick compatible with LEGO® bricks?

Aleph Brick is its own brand. The set is compatible with LEGO® bricks and other major brick brands. Aleph Brick is not affiliated with or endorsed by the LEGO Group.

Is the model an exact reconstruction of the Beis Hamikdash?

The model is an educational interpretation informed by traditional Jewish sources. Some architectural details are understood differently among commentaries. It is designed to encourage learning rather than claim that every historical or interpretive question has one universally accepted answer.

How can families learn with the set?

Families are building it together, comparing the two Heichal options with what they learn in Mishnah Middos and other traditional sources. Our Aleph Brick blog has articles on the Beis Hamikdash and Jewish history to read along the way.

Is it compatible with other bricks?

Yes. Aleph Brick is compatible with LEGO® bricks and most major brick brands. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this product.

What if a piece is missing?

We'll send a free replacement. Email contact@alephbrick.com with a photo of the instruction-manual page showing exactly which piece(s) are missing, and we'll ship them out.
